Grant McIntyre sculpts in a variety of materials, singly or in combination, including bronze, carved wood of various types, plaster both painted and plain, terracotta, wire, even rubber. His work is figurative, and covers both animals and people. He undertakes portraits as well, whether heads, busts, or studies at half or full length. Most of his pieces are relatively small, and are intended for for instance table tops or mantelpieces. He is however happy to work on a larger scale too.
